Sister Núria Miró has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Professional Music Diploma (Piano). She finished the Leading Schools Program at High Tech High Graduate School of Education in San Diego and has completed courses at Harvard Project Zero, the National Center for Teaching Thinking (Newton Center) at the University of Massachusetts and the Key Learning Community in Indianapolis. She has also participated in conferences such as the Conference on Thinking in Sweden, the Fourth World Conference on Visible Thinking in Amsterdam, and many other educational professional development events.
Sister Núria has been teaching for more than 20 years and has been leading schools for 10 years. In one of those schools she led innovation and change to completely transform the school in two years. At present, she is the Principal of Col·legi Montserrat (Barcelona, Spain).
She has been a speaker at many educational conferences and she is responsible for the organization and delivery of a Professional Development Program for teachers about Change and Innovation in schools based on the experience of Col·legi Montserrat. She has written articles in educational magazines and is co-author with Montserrat Del Pozo of the books Una experiencia a compartir. Las Inteligencias Múltiples en el Colegio Montserrat and Aprendizaje Inteligente.
