School: St. Timothy's School
Randy S. Stevens was appointed Head of St. Timothy’s School on July 1, 2003 and was officially invested as the 10th Head of School on October 17, 2003. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and International Studies from the University of South Carolina and a master’s of Public Administration from Cornell University. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Cornell Institute of Public Affairs. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University Institute of Higher Education. Mr. Stevens served in various administrative posts at Cornell University from 1987 through 1998, including his last assignment as the Robert G. Engel Associate Dean of Students from 1993 to 1998. He served as Dean of Student Life at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts, prior to his appointment at St. Timothy’s. Mr. Stevens lead the effort to implement the IB at St. Timothy’s School in 2006 and has taught the Theory of Knowledge course within the International Baccalaureate (IB) program since that time.
